It’s around early November when Starbucks usually rolls out their Christmas specials; from their planners, the festive drinkware, the beverage lineup that always includes the Toffee Nut Crunch Latte and Peppermint Mocha, and of course, there’s also Christmas-special food to pair with your beverage of choice — one of which is the Chicken Fajita Roll, a.k.a. the best Starbucks holiday food item, bar none.
What is Starbucks’ Chicken Fajita Roll?
Starbucks’ Chicken Fajita Rolls are a seasonal item that’s made available during the holidays. We can’t exactly figure out why it’s only available during Christmas. Maybe it’s the colors of the bell pepper toppings? The tortilla, which is stuffed with slices of chicken breast flavored with all sorts of Mexican spices, and a generous amount of melted cheese, is topped with minced green and red bell peppers.
What we love (and don’t love) about the Chicken Fajita Roll
If you love Mexican flavors, then there’s absolutely no reason for you to not like Starbucks’ Chicken Fajita Roll. Each bite of the tortilla is a rollercoaster ride of flavor: the medley of spices working together with the sweet-salty melted cheese, and the soft tortilla and chicken chunks make for a hefty on-the-go meal.
While the concept of affordability is completely subjective to the buyer, we do think that the Chicken Fajita Roll is on the more affordable side compared to the other items on the menu. The Chicken Fajita Roll costs P145 and is priced cheaper than some of their sliced cakes.
Is there anything we do not love about the Chicken Fajita Roll? We can only think of one con and that it’s only available during the holidays and we wish it’s available all year round. We want something to eat aside from our other Starbucks favorites, like the Four Cheese Flat Bread.
Is Starbucks’ Chicken Fajita Roll still available?
Starbucks’ Chicken Fajita Roll is, as of publication, still available in stores and it will be until they pull out all Christmas items off the menu. There’s no specific date yet as to when this will be as Starbucks often extends it for sticker-collecting purposes, so best to grab one now while it’s still available.
